Characteristics of Slewing Bearings

Slewing bearings can carry heavier axial load radial loads titling moment and combined loads. Slewing bearing is a kind of large-size bearing with special structure and performance such as propping rotating transmission and fixing etc. Generally slewing bearings have mounting holes oil holes and sealing equipments. Slewing bearings can meet different needs of various main engines in different working conditions. On the other hand the structure of slewing bearing is compact which make it easy to rotate mount and maintain. Slewing bearings are widely used in cranes transportation excavators building engine port machineries wind turbine medical facilities radar missile launcher etc. and those large-size slewing equipments.

 

Products Classification

LYC slewing bearings can be classified into the following types according to different structure.

1.      Four-point contact ball slewing bearing

2.       Double-row  four-point contact ball bearing

3.       Crossed cylindrical roller slewing bearing

4.       Crossed tapered roller slewing bearing

5.       Three-row cylindrical roller slewing bearing

 

Dimension Range

The dimension range of slewing bearings that LYC can manufacture is from 80mm to 6070mm.

 

Tolerance and Clearance

The tolerance and clearance of slewing bearings that LYC produce are comply with the standard JB/T10471 . The tolerance and clearance of slewing bearings used in wind turbine are complying with the standard JB/T10705 .

LYC can design and produce the relative products according to individual requirements of different customers.

Cages

The cages of LYC slewing bearings have different structures such as whole type sectional type and separate type. Among which cages of whole type and sectional type are made of #20 steel or ZL102 aluminum casting alloys. Cages of separate type are made of polyamide resin 1010 ZL102 aluminum casting alloy or QA110-3-1.5 aluminum bronze. In present years with the development of material industry Nylon GRPA66.25 is also widely used to produce sectional cages.
