LYC wind turbine bearing research & development got great achievements

Press release on November 23rd LYC independently researched and produced (manufactured) the bearings for 2MW wind turbine generator speed-increasing gearbox. The production realized the import substitution.

For decades LYC developed a series of wind turbine bearings with independent intellectual property right such as 600KW 660KW 750KW 1500KW yaw bearings pitch bearings main-shaft bearings gearbox bearings and other types of bearings matched with wind turbine.

On September 1st 2007 the standard of  Wind Turbine Bearing drafted by LYC was executed in China.

In May 2009 LYC successfully developed the large-scale wind turbine bearing tester with independent intellectual property right which marked LYC’s wind turbine bearings having a strong technical support in testing and high reliability.

On June 23rd 2009 LYC successfully produced the yaw bearings for 3MW off-shore wind turbine in domestic.

In this August LYC developed the key technology of improving wind turbine’s low temperature impact energy efficiency--- Forging Tempering Technology for Heating Processing which was a major breakthrough made by LYC in this field.

Nowadays LYS has formed its complete wind turbine bearing R&D system could supply the whole set of matched bearings for the megawatt wind turbine has the volume-produce capacity and reaches the level of international similar products.

LYC’s second wind turbine project is under construction and expected put into trial production at the end of this year.
