LYC bearing technical center has been identified state-level center by National Development and Reform Commission State Taxation Administration and General Administration of Customs since 1996.LYC technical center works on new products’ development old products improving bearing application technology processing technic and equipment testing technology and apparatus bearing life testing and performance analysis material and heat treatment technic technology of washing,antirust,lubrication and cooling chemical materials technology of computer application and others areas.

The technical center (Total building area: 10290M2) which includes scientific research building and technical information building has complete equipments and good capacity in scientific research. In the organization structure there are thermal engineering lab bearing failure analysis lab computer lab electric appliance lab bearing life lab and science library. Also owns 5 institutes such as bearing institute equipment institute process institute metallic material institute and information institute1 division named product performance3 departments concerned technology of computer application chemical material and general administration office. The related efficient systems about R&D information collecting and service supporting are established.

> bearing institute

Bearing institute mainly takes charge of bearing technology research new product development design updating and upgrading and standard set for China bearing companies. Which is consisted of product developing office product researching office and military product researching office. Approx 300 new types of products are worked out every year. Bearing institute has been finished 30 state-level projects until now. Hundreds of products are awarded provincial –level ministerial-level state-level quality products or new products over 40 prizes for Progress in Science and Technology are obtained.

> Process institute

Process institute is responsible for cold working technic management includes of the dominant documents made design and research on assembly fixtures measuring tools. testing technology. Also about the research and applications on measuring technology cutting tool abrasive grinding tool new processes and technic test’s widespread. Process institute has a turning research lab a grinding and assembling research lab and a inspection technic lab. 

> Metallic material institute

Process institute is responsible for R&D on Metallic material & heat treatment NDT product material failure modes and defect analysis. There are more than 10 kinds f analytical instruments and facilities such as electronic scanner microscope image analyzer X-ray stress gauge digital ultrasonic flaw detector and etc. Metallic material institute is considered as a multi-disciplinary institute with 3 labs about metallic material heat treatment material failure analysis and NDT

> Equipment institute

Equipment institute is mainly for R&D on bearing specialized equipment old bearing equipment modernization advanced equipments introduction digestion and absorption of advanced foreign technology and product imitation and substitute. There are 3 labs respectively regarding with lathe design lab non-standard equipment design lab and electric appliance design lab. 

Equipment institute has been developed many bearing processing equipments like special machine tool(grinding milling super finishing machine and etc)non-standard equipments(assemblywashingpacking machine and etc) and heat treatment equipments(roller-hearth type furnace puddling furnaces and etc)many of which are widely used in China bearing manufacture industry.

> Information institute

Equipment institute mainly is in charge of keeping all kinds of files books and information collecting sorting and using. Integrating management system has been applied on it.

> Product performance testing department

Product performance testing department is in charge of rolling bearing’s dynamic characteristic testing analysis and evaluation. Another function is to make a research and development on testing methods concerne. The equipments such as clutch bearing life testing equipment high temperature test for hub bearing unit mud tester (d≤50mm) and tester for general bearings(d≤200mm) are owned by us.

> Chemical material institute

The responsibilities are to draw up the process about acid cleaning,phosphating,washing,ant-corrosive,coating and packing.In addition other researches about relative new products technic and others would be within their duty.

> Department of technology of computer application

Major work is on bearing CAD/CAPP/CAM software development design and implement.

In the domain of product design successfully brought the calculation technology into practice like bearing design and analysis (CAD/CAE)production process design(CAPP)bearing performance test(CAT) and etc.Apart from them they independent developed with fully intellectual property.
